We are very excited to be reviewing the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer. The package that we received is part of DaVinci’s Explorer’s Collection. We will be going through what was included in the box and then tell you about the vapor experience. Then we will give you our opinion on this ultra-portable vaporizer.

MIQRO Vaporizer Box Contents
The shipping was very fast on this little guy. Notified the manufacturer and received it in just a couple of days. Which is great because I hate waiting.
The box and presentation of the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer is very nice. Upon receiving it I immediately slid off the box’s dust cover and folded back the magnetic board flaps.
The top layer of the box contents consisted of a dry herb grinder, the Davinci MIQRO Vaporizer itself, and a battery slash dry herb holder travel tub. Inside the metallic tub was also an extra 18350 battery!
Peeling back the main components tray on top we found a bunch of neatly organized accessories. We received:
Carrying Case – A cloth zip-up style case with extra compartments inside for any tools and herbs for easy traveling.
Extra Mouth Piece – A drip tip like extension so you don’t have to put your mouth around the whole vaporizer.
Box of Cleaning Supplies – Pipe cleaners and wet naps for removing herb build-up.
Key Chain – With an extra pick for stirring up some dry herb in the chamber.
Silicone Sleeve – Soft and flexible for protecting the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer and keeping your hands cool.
USB Cord – For Charging the included battery inside the MIQRO Vaporizer
Using the DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer
This dry herb vaporizer is pretty simple to use. The top end opens up to place in your battery and to swap out the mouthpiece. Then the bottom side contains the chamber. It’s a pretty small size but fits about a fingertip full of herbs. You even have the option of putting less in because the chamber lid has an adjustable pearl on it to compact whatever amount of dry herb you decide to use.
Both sides have strong lids that are held by magnets. Flip open and flip close. It takes five clicks to turn on and then you will see lights on the front.
Dry Herb Temperature Modes
You can control the temperature settings with the up and down rocker located on the side. There is one button above the rocker for 3 buttons total on the vaporizer. The top button allows you to switch the temperature control mode. One-click will put the portable vaporizer in to smart path mode and another click will put you in a mode that allows you to individual change the exact temperature reading.
Smart Path Level 1
DaVinci Smart Path Modes
Smart Path temperature control is much easier to use. If you see 3 evenly lit horizontal LED lights you know you are in Smart Path. The LEDs position vertically will tell you what level smart path you are currently in.
Smart Path Settings
- Smart Path 1 – 350° – 370°
- Smart Path 2 – 370° – 390°
- Smart Path 3 – 390° – 410°
- Smart Path 4 – 410° – 430°
Additionally, the Vaporizer is equipped with a Boost Mode. Boost mode will increase the temperature up to the maximum temperature for the duration of the button hold.
To activate Boost mode, just hold the top button whenever and from whatever temperature mode you’re in. Activating boost mode on the vaporizer will show you arrows pointing upwards meaning it’s currently boosting the temperature.
To Begin Dry Herb Vaping
Insert the 18350 battery and place your favorite herb in the vaporizer chamber. Five clicks on the top to turn on.
Once you have adjusted your temperature to the desired setting the device will flash. This means that it is heating up the chamber. Once the chamber reaches the correct setting level it will vibrate and the LED lights will remain steady. Then simply puff away.
After about 5 minutes the unit will automatically shut off. If this wasn’t enough time for you, you can use the five clicks on the top button to turn it on again.
Our Vaping Experience
To test out the product we were sent 2 sample herbs. One Lavender herb and one Peppermint herb. I just have to mention that these little dry herb tins DaVinci sent us are incredibly hard to open. Yes, I’m talking to you DaVinci! – says the RIP Tripper “This is something you could work on”.
Anyway, if you were looking for the Cheech and Chong, I got super blazed review, this is not the one.
What we can tell you is that the vapor coming off these legal dry herbs was very freaking fresh and crisp tasting. Once you get past the taste of Lavender, no matter how horrible it tastes, you can tell the vaporizer is giving you nothing but pure and clean vapor with not one bit of combustion.
I started out on the highest smart path setting before realizing that the proper temperature for these dry herbs is far below the lowest smart path setting of 350 degrees. Using the first smart path setting made the dry herbs last longer and taste better.
The resistance of the draw was in-between a mouth to lung (MTL) and a direct to lung(DTL) hit. But we also didn’t pack very tight.
Vaporizer Heat
The vaporizer does get a little warm when set to the highest setting and when you double up on sessions back to back. Which is pretty normal for vaporizers of this size. However, most dry herbs recommend low temperatures that are below 300 degrees Fahrenheit. When using the highest setting on a back-to-back session you will most likely want to use the Silicone sleeve. The device does not become too hot to hold, it just becomes uncomfortable to hold.
Battery Life
The DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer comes with an 18350 battery rated at 900mAh. 18350 batteries are about half the size of an 18650, and so they produce about half the battery life. But keeping in mind the MIQRO Vaporizer’s extremely small dimensions it makes sense. DaVinci did a good job fitting all the pieces together in a way that utilizes the least amount of space. The battery lasts for a few sessions, less or more depending on what temperature you set the portable vaporizer to.
This portable vaporizer has the capability of charging the battery through USB Micro. Allowing you to charge the battery without purchasing an additional battery charger.
When charging the MIQRO Vaporizer the LED lights will flash. There are five individual LED lights in the center that are just a little bit bigger than the others. Each one of the LED lights corresponds to a level of battery life.
Wrap Up
The DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer is a great vape for those looking for something that is quick and easy to grab on the go. Its size and shape is smaller than the DaVinci IQ Vaporizer while still providing a removable battery and crisp vape experience. The design is very sleek and when you poke around the body and caps you can see the high-end quality in the way every part fits snugly against each other. I especially like the way all of the magnetic compartments gripped tight and secure without the need for any clips in the chassis. The shape is very comfortable to hold whether just for a minute or all day.
